Owen O'Neil, Structural Engineer

Mr.  O誰eil is the President of Owen O誰eil Associates; he has over 30 years experience in designing commercial buildings and industrial plants.  He has designed projects ranging from high-rise commercial structures to large distribution warehouses.  Mr. O誰eil is an expert in post-tensioned concrete building design.  He has given numerous lectures on the subject at universities and at seminars throughout the United States.  After the Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989, Mr. O誰eil designed over one hundred seismic retrofit projects including several downtown Oakland and San Francisco hotels.  Mr. O誰eil has designed many industrial warehouse/office structures of concrete tilt-up construction.

He is a registered civil and structural engineer in the State of California. He is licensed real estate broker in California, and he is a licensed contractor in California with A (general engineering), B (general building) and HAZ (hazardous waste operations) classifications.
